Day 1: Individual journey to Schwäbisch Hall

Welcome to the north-east of Baden-Württemberg! Your cycle tour along the Kocher and Jagst rivers begins in Schwäbisch Hall. Check into your hotel room and take a leisurely stroll. The town impresses with its beautiful half-timbered houses and its special atmosphere. The beautiful market square combines architectural styles from all eras. The Romanesque-Gothic church of St. Michael and the baroque town hall are an impressive sight.

Day 2: Schwäbisch Hall – Jagsthausen / Sindringen approx. 80 / 85 km

You cycle through the deep Kocher valley, under the Kochertal bridge, Germany's highest valley bridge, directly along the Kocher to Braunsbach. Marvel at Braunsbach Castle with its Protestant St. Boniface Church. Now leave the Kocher for the time being and cycle up to the Hohenlohe plain. Shortly afterwards, you roll down to the Jagst and follow it downstream to Mulfingen. There, the Jagst meanders through the districts in harmony with the beautiful half-timbered houses. The destination of your stage is Jagsthausen, the home of the knight Götz von Berlichingen. He spent several years of his childhood at Jagsthausen Castle, also known as Götzenburg. Visit the Red and White Castles or the Old Town Hall in the town center.

Day 3: Excursion to Bad Wimpfen approx. 75 / 85 km

The next stage of your cycle tour along the Kocher and Jagst rivers takes you to Bad Wimpfen today. You cycle along the Jagst and can already see the town's striking silhouette from afar. Admire the town's numerous historic buildings. The blue tower, the stone house and the Palatinate Chapel are particularly impressive. Take a break from cycling and recharge your batteries in the Bad Wimpfen brine baths (not included). You cycle back along the Kocher towards Jagsthausen. However, as your overnight stay is located on the Jagst, there is still one more ascent waiting for you.

Day 4: Jagsthausen / Sindringen – Schwäbisch Hall, approx. 55 km

After the last few stages, you will cover the upcoming kilometers in no time at all. The only challenge is likely to be the climb between Jagsthausen and the Kocher river. Cycle along the Kocher through mostly wooded valley slopes via Künzelsau back to Schwäbisch Hall. Enjoy the evening in the historic old town and linger on the beautiful market square.
