This bike and boat holiday in the province of South Holland is easy cycling, entertaining and full of variety. It is not called the Green Heart for nothing. You won't just be cycling through breath-takingly green countryside, but also through the wonderful dunes that line the North Sea shore. You will visit old towns such as the silver town of Schoonhoven, busy Rotterdam, Delft with its wonderful historic quarter or Haarlem, the town that comes in close after Maastricht for the country's biggest number of cafes and restaurants. Your agenda isn't without the things for which The Netherlands are most famous: cheese, windmills, canals and tulips. And what could be better than beginning and ending your holiday in Amsterdam? Take some time for the Rijksmuseum, the eccentric Pijp quarter and a canal boat trip.
You can book the tour on the De Amsterdam and the De Nassau.
Please note that the routes are slightly different for the two ships. The De Amsterdam departs on Saturdays, sailing first to Zuid-Holland and then to Haarlem and the museum village Zaanse Schans. With the De Nassau you start on Sundays, sail to Haarlem at the beginning of the voyage and then to Zuid-Holland.

Your cruisers
The lovely river cruiser De Amsterdam welcomes you with a light and modern design and ensures a perfect atmosphere for relaxing days on your cycling holiday. The crew is sure to spoil you on a daily basis serving delicious meals in the boat's restaurant. In the lounge, with its generously sized panorama windows, it's easy to enjoy the impressions of the passing countryside. The partially roofed sundeck has chairs and sunbeds: great for relaxing after your cycle rides. And if you don't feel like a day in the saddle, you can stay on board and spend the day messing about in boats.
The medium-sized river cruiser, the De Nassau, is perfect for bike & boat trips in The Netherlands. You will be living in a lovely cabin on either of the two decks of the boat, which was partially renovated in 2018. On the De Nassau there is a large saloon with big panoramic windows on the upper deck, connecting the restaurant, bar and lounge. Enjoy watching the countryside pass by – in sunny weather from the large, partially roofed sundeck. If you don't feel like cycling one of the sections, you can sit back and relax as the boat takes care of this for you!
