This leisurely tour along the Bavarian Danube cycle path takes you right across the Free State of Bavaria. On the way, you will encounter historic but very different towns and cities and repeatedly immerse yourself in unspoilt nature. On your way is Ingolstadt. This is where the Bavarian purity law for beer was proclaimed in 1516. Further east, you will visit the Danube breakthrough at Weltenburg before reaching the Gothic Regensburg with its magnificent old town. For the crowning finale of your cycle tour along the Bavarian Danube cycle path, you reach Passau. In the City of Three Rivers, the Inn, Ilz and Danube flow together. On the way there is still enough time to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the Bavarian landscape.
