Wander a little through the harbour until it's time for the first date: with a lovely meal on board. Did you know that the singer Vicky Leandros used to be vice mayor here?
The ship sails off majestically to the island of Kythnos. The cheese and wine here is of the best. Kythnos was known for it in ancient times. The village, Chora, is situated very picturesquely on the island's highest point. Not only is the view here stunning, but the village too with its winding little streets, which are lovingly decorated with flowers and ornaments. The name "Kythnos" means warm spring. And you'll see some on your tour to the spa resort of Loutra.
The small island of Seriphos radiates peace and calm. On our route along the winding roads high up to the capital Seriphos, you'll see deep valleys, many bays and beaches. The bike tour continues through unspoiled hills to a Byzantine monastery. The mythological figure, Perseus, is said to have petrified the people of Seriphos who didn't believe that he had Medusa's head in his possession. The boat takes you from the harbour in Livadi to the island of Siphnos.
Steep, green cliff walls rise out of the azure blue water. The mountainous terrain of the coast has led to almost all settlements being established inland. The cycle ride to the plateau takes you past green terraces on the slopes. The white houses of Apollonia nestle into a small valley between the mountain peaks. It's worth taking a detour to the former stronghold, Kastro. In the afternoon you sail over to the island of Kea.
The natural harbour of Korissia is where you start today's cycle ride. You bike to the white beach of Otzias and then on over the hills to the beautiful Ioulis. The most well known archaeological find here is the lion of Kea, close to Ioulis. The three-metre high granite sculpture dates back to 6 BC. The mythical figure with a rather strange smile draws many a visitor to the island. In the afternoon, your boat takes you to Poros island in the Saronic Gulf, where you are welcomed to the town of Poros by its historic clock tower. From Poros town, which is located around the cliff like an amphitheatre, on your bike and boat holiday in Greece you set off on your bike to the Monastery of Zoodochos Pigis , which dates back to the 18th century. The island is so small that you now cycle round almost the entire island! Enjoy the peace and quiet and the views of the pine forests stretching down to the glittering sea.You have time for a break and a swim at the sandy beach at Russian Bay, just before the end of the ride. After lunch, your boat takes you to the island of Aegina, close by.
The island of Aegina is not just famous for its pistachio nuts, which you should definitely try! You cycle up to the temple of the goddess Aphaia, which is located majestically high up above the blue sea, in the middle of a pine forest. Back in the town of Aegina, explore its lovely historic quarter. Visit the town's magnificent monuments and the fish market. You will also have time for a swim at any of the many beaches.
