Cycling takes a back seat on this leisure cruise in Croatia: you won't just be on your bike, but also on foot and in a kayak. Whether it's a city tour, a short hike, a visit to a fragrance garden or a kayak tour through the Zrmanja Canyon – the programme is so varied that there's something for everyone. Of course, there's no shortage of swimming on this leisure cruise in Croatia: as soon as the ship drops anchor, you can jump straight into the crystal-clear waves of the Adriatic Sea! The daily excursions to the islands of Kvarner Bay have one thing in common: they are relaxed and can be enjoyed by families and inexperienced sailors alike. And if you don't feel like going ashore, just stay on board and let the sun shine on your belly button.
The crew of your ship will be waiting for you between 8.30 a.m. and 12.00 noon in the port of Rijeka for your leisure cruise in Croatia! Enjoy a welcome drink and get to know the crew and your fellow passengers as your romantic motor sailboat sets sail for the first time. On the way, we will stop at one of the bays so you can take your first long-awaited dip in the sea! Once you arrive on Cres Island, you will take your first bike tour to the lighthouses of Cres and back.
During the crossing to Lošinj Island, you can admire the Kvarner Bay as it passes by. With a little luck, you may spot a group of Adriatic dolphins, which feel particularly at home around Lošinj Island. A swim stop along the way is a must, of course. After lunch on board, you will moor in the harbour of Mali Lošinj. Afterwards, you can join a hike to the picturesque village of Veli Lošinj. On the way back, you will visit a nearby Mediterranean fragrance garden, where over 250 different fragrant plants grow and thrive.
Pine forests and spruce trees cover the largely unspoilt island of Molat, which you can explore today on your leisure cruise in Croatia, either on a gentle hike or a relaxing bike ride. You will be back on board for lunch. During the crossing to Zadar, the former capital of Dalmatia, the anchor will be dropped for a long swimming break. The old town of Zadar, your destination for today, is surrounded by mighty walls. During an entertaining guided tour, you will learn all kinds of interesting facts about the city.
Today you will leave the sea and paddle along the Zrmanja River to the canyon of the same name. A bus transfer will take you to the entry point, where you will also pick up your kayak. The karst river glistens in its typical emerald green colour – a magnificent sight! After a few bends and rapids, enchanting waterfalls await you at one of the most beautiful spots on the river. After a picnic, you will continue paddling through the Zrmanja Canyon. After the tour, the bus will take you back to Zadar. Note: If the water level is very high, the excursion will be carried out with large inflatable boats (rafting).
Today, you will take a closer look at the island of Pag with its partly barren, partly lush green meadows: you will sail to Lun on the north-western tip of the island. Around 80,000 olive trees grow here! And even more impressive: some of them are already around 1,200 years old! You will learn all this and more during a guided tour of the grove. After a long swim, the ship will set sail for the island of Rab. The old town of the main town stretches along a long headland and has a number of sights to offer.
Start the day with a bike tour to the Suha Punta peninsula. Lunch will be waiting for you on the ship when you return. The ship will then head for the next bay – another swimming break is on the agenda. The journey continues to the island of Krk, one of the largest islands in the Adriatic. Take a stroll through the town of Krk and be enchanted by the well-preserved old town. In the evening, enjoy the atmosphere at the harbour.
The ship sets sail for Haludovo in the north of Krk. From Haludovo, you cycle along the so-called Paradise Trail to Njivice along the coast – with sweeping views of the sea and shady sections through pine forests. After lunch on board, you will return to Rijeka, the starting point of your leisure cruise in Croatia. As today is the last day on board, a particularly long swimming break is on the programme. Jump straight from the ship into the crystal-clear waves! Once the ship has been safely moored, you will have plenty of time for a leisurely stroll through Rijeka.
