Travel report: The Lake Bike Tour – an unforgettable adventure

Our cycle tour around Lake Constance was a real highlight! Together, we experienced a varied tour that took us through beautiful landscapes, charming towns and interesting sights.

The first day took us from Constance to Stein am Rhein. The picturesque old town with its half-timbered houses was a perfect start to the tour. We continued on to Schaffhausen, where we visited the impressive Rhine Falls - a natural wonder that amazed us all. We spent the night in Gailingen, where we relaxed in a cozy hotel with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast.

On the second day, we cycled to Überlingen. Particularly impressive was the visit to the whimsical figures by Peter Lenk, in Bodman, which give the whole region on Lake Constance a special charm. The ride along the lake was wonderful, and the atmosphere in Überlingen was relaxed and friendly.

On the fourth day, we cycled via Lindau and Bregenz to Höchst. In Bregenz, we took the Pfänderbahn up the mountain to admire the fantastic views. We also visited the famous floating stage, renowned for its opera performances – a real highlight!

The final stage took us back to Konstanz on our e-bikes, along the Swiss shore of Lake Constance. On Sunday, we spent the day visiting Mainau Island. The island, in full bloom, was a wonderful end to our tour and enchanted us with its riot of colour.

The entire organization with Radreisen worked wonderfully. The luggage transportation was smooth and we liked all the hotels very much. The staff were very nice everywhere and the breakfast was always delicious and varied.

Your organization on site in Constance was perfect, from picking up the rental bikes to the parking space for our cars. We even had an ice cream with your friendly young team.
