Our classic Lake Constance bike tour is not only one of our most popular tours, but the perfect way to get to know the most beautiful corners around Lake Constance in a very relaxed way with and on the bike. You start in Constance. The council city impresses with a picturesque old town, a lively harbor and an eventful history. Our Lake Constance bike tour takes you along the High Rhine to medieval Stein am Rhein, the Höri peninsula and the garden city of Überlingen. Along the Obersee, the largest part of Lake Constance, you will cycle buoyantly past Meersburg Castle, through sun-drenched wine valleys to the Zeppelin city of Friedrichshafen. Between Lindau and the festival city of Bregenz, you cross the German-Austrian border. After a few kilometers you are already in Switzerland and cycle along the southern shore of the lake through pretty little villages back to Constance. Our Lake Constance bike tour is ideal for bike tour beginners, pleasure cyclists and families.

We offer the trip in three categories. You can choose between hotels in category K (4* level), category A (3* / 4* level) and category B (2* / 3*

Day 1: Individual arrival in Constance

Your Lake Constance bike tour begins in Constance, the largest city on the shores of the lake. Upon arriving at your hotel, take a leisurely stroll through the historic Niederburg district. This charming area is characterized by narrow alleyways, crooked half-timbered houses, and inviting wine taverns, offering a glimpse into the city’s rich heritage.

Don't miss the opportunity to ascend the tower of Constance Priory, where you can savor breathtaking panoramic views of the city, the lake, and the Swiss landscape. At the harbor, you'll find the Imperia, a striking nine-meter-high statue that has been captivating visitors since 1993. This satirical figure serves as a poignant reminder of the Council of Constance held in the 15th century.
