A warm Velkommen to our cycling holidays on Sealand! The island of Sealand – Sjælland in Danish – is Denmark's largest island in the Baltic Sea. It offers you an eclectic mix of varied landscapes, bright cities and memories of a great past. On our cycling holidays on Sealand you will experience relaxed cycling pleasure thanks to the mostly flat to slightly hilly cycle paths. In the north of the island you will find beautiful beaches, typical fishing villages and magnificent castles. The Frederiksborg Slot in Hillerød and the Kronberg Castle in the lively harbour town of Helsingør, home of Shakespeare's Hamlet, are well worth seeing. The central part of the island is home to the cathedral town of Rosklide, which has an excellent Viking ship museum. Nearby Lejre is of great archaeological importance and brings history to life experimentally at Sagnlandet Lejre. The south of Sealand is known for medieval Køge and the impressive chalk coast Stevns Klint. Copenhagen – Denmark's capital – must of course not be missed on our cycling holidays on Sealand.
