What is the difference between an organized cycle tour and a self-planned tour?
It's all in the details: with an organized cycling holiday, hotels are booked, your luggage is transported onwards every day and you receive ready-made route maps and GPS tracks. You don't have to coordinate anything - and can concentrate fully on cycling.
How fit do I need to be for a cycle tour in 2027?
This depends on the route you choose. Many of our most popular tours - for example on Lake Constance, along the Danube or in Holland - are largely flat and suitable for leisure cyclists. If you prefer a more relaxed ride, choose an e-bike. More challenging routes, such as in Portugal or Croatia, are suitable for cyclists with a little more experience. Can I bring my own bike?
Yes, on most routes that's absolutely fine. Alternatively, you can book a high-quality rental bike or e-bike directly with us. You can find details in the tour description or on our rental bike page.
Is it worth booking now for 2027?
Yes - especially for popular routes and summer months. Certain hotels are located directly on the cycle route and only have a few rooms; these are often sold out early. Those who book early have the widest choice of dates and also secure the current early booking discount.
