Experience the two enchanting landscapes of Provence and Camargue on a trip by bike and boat. On leisurely day trips you discover the highlights of the regions by bike. Your floating hotel, the MS Caprice or the MS L'Estello, will accompany you on the Rhône and its side canals. Follow the scent of the lavender fields glowing purple through the unique landscape of Provence. The special light and the intense colors already attracted painters like Van Gogh and Cézanne to this area. You cycle on quiet paths through pretty villages surrounded by vineyards and orchards. The Camargue offers a completely different picture: huge alluvial plains in mirror-like terrain, wide sandy beaches and salt flats. Here the famous white wild horses and the black bulls feel at home. Numerous bird species have settled at the many lakes. You may even see a pink flamingo stalking through the marshy ground. Also discover the historic cities of Avignon and Arles on your bike and boat trip in Provence and Camargue.

The starting point alternates between Avignon and Aigues-Mortes. Available dates are shown in the booking form.

Your ships: MS Caprice and MS L'Estello

Originally, the MS Caprice was a cargo ship. She was converted into a passenger ship and newly renovated in 2009. You can feel comfortable in the cozy cabins, as they are air-conditioned and have small portholes. The crew will be happy to pamper you in the cozy restaurant with wooden floor and then serve you a drink in the salon with open bar. On the sun deck with seating you can relax after a day of cycling and enjoy the evenings.

The MS L'Estello is a classic passenger ship with a feel-good atmosphere. Look forward to the comfortable cabins, all equipped with air-conditioning and portholes. Lots of natural light comes into the large, maritime living room. In the restaurant with its large windows you can enjoy not only the food but also the view. Relax after cycling days in the cozy salon or on the covered sun deck.

The two ships always start on the same day in Avignon or Aigues-Mortes. You are welcome to tell us your desired ship in the comments field at the end of the booking form, but we can not guarantee the allocation. Our local cooperation partner will take care of the booking of the cabins and thus the allocation to the respective ship. They have had good experience in accommodating guests with the same language on the same ship.

Day 1: Individual arrival in Avignon

From 5 p.m. the crew of your trip by bike and boat in Provence and Camargue awaits you for embarkation. Your ship is at the Quai de la Ligne.
