Once ashore, you cycle via little known paths to solitary bays and visit the historical quarters of the old ports. You can wave at grazing sheep as you cycle past and relax in the shade of the pine forests. Back on board you can cool down by jumping into the waves. Your cruiser MS Planka
After Captain Jure Tomaš had put a new engine in his MS Planka, the boat was completely reconstructed in 2005. In the meantime, Jure's older son Marin is now at the helm of this classic wooden ship. The crew tends to your personal requirements, cooking delicious local dishes daily. You can stretch out on the large sun deck to relax. If it gets too hot, just hop right into the crystal clear water to refresh.
Your cruiser MS Kapetan Kuka
It couldn't be more elegant - MS Kapetan Kuka sets sail! Pero, indefatigable captain, celebrated his comeback with the purchase of this ship in 2016. He has put his all into overhauling the boat very thoroughly. The new cabin fittings and the new bathing platform at the stern are just great. While Sandra-Marie, German-Croatian daughter of the captain, prepares tasty meals, you can relax on the sun deck. If it gets too hot, simply jump right off the boat into the crystal clear water of the Mediterranean to cool down.
Your cruiser MS Aria
Since his son took over the boat in 2015, Captain Jure Tomaš takes care of his new boat, the MS Aria. By the way, in the Dalmatian dialect, Aria means air. The majestic motorized sailing boat set sail for the first time in spring 2016. Look forward to a trip on this new comfortable boat and be pampered by the crew; relax in a deck chair on the large sundeck after wonderful bike tours.
Day 1: Individual arrival in Rijeka, Rieka – Krk Island (by boat), bike tour on Krk Island, approx. 25 km / 380 m altitude difference
Embarkation takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. You are welcomed with a drink and snack, then the journey to Krk begins. In Malinska you will mount your bike for the first time and go on the first tour across the famous island. In Krk harbour you will have dinner and you have the opportunity to spend the evening in the town.
Day 2: Round trip on Krk Island, approx. 45 km / 890 m altitude difference
Today you will cycle inland to Dobrinj and then further to Vrbnik, an old town far up on a cliff on the eastern coast of Krk. The region is known for the golden-coloured Zlahtina, a wine which is produced in the neighbouring vineyards and the perfect accompaniment for your lunch. Refreshed, you will continue cycling to the highest point of today´s tour, which offers a beautiful view over the Bascanska Draga. As a reward for the challenging ascent you can now cycle to the harbour town Baska leisurely.
Day 3: Krk Island – Rab Island (by boat), bike tour on Rab Island, approx. 20 km / 340 m altitude difference
The day begins with a short ship journey to the northern tip of the island Rab. From the harbour Lopar you will cycle across the island. The island itself does not entirely live up to its name (loosely translated: wooded) these days; the side of the island facing the Adriatic is densely wooded, the side facing main land more closely resembles a lunar landscape. The most beautiful place on the island is Rab Town which you will reach around midday. It has a beautiful historical town centre and famous towers. After lunch on board you visit the wood park Kalifront. After the guided tour in Rab you can choose one of the many restaurants in town for dinner.
Day 4: Rab Island – Pag Island (by boat), bike tour on Pag Island, approx. 35 km / 490 m altitude difference
It´s time for your next ship journey – today you will visit the island Pag! You will start at Lun harbour on the northern most tip of the island and cycle past olive trees, lush meadows, many sheep (there are approximately 20.000) and barren stone landscapes until you reach Mandre, where the ship awaits you.
Day 5: Pag Island – Lošinj Island (by boat), bike tour on Lošinj Island, approx. 20 km / 390 m altitude difference
The day begins with a four-hour ship journey to Mali Losinj on the Island of Losinj. You will eat lunch on board, the ship will anchor in a cosy bay. Once you have arrived in Mali Losinj you will cycle through pine forests, past beautiful bays. Your destination is the harbour of Veli Losinj. You can dine in one of the many atmospheric harbour restaurants.
Day 6: Lošinj Island – Cres Island, approx. 45 km / 660 m altitude difference, Martinšćica – Cres (by boat)
Today you will not sail to the Island Cres, but cycle, as both islands are connected by a bridge. From Malo Losinj you will cycle to Osor, where you will cross the lifting bridge and then further to Martiniscica via Belej and Stivan. Here you will board the ship again, which will take you to the town of Cres. There will be time to have lunch during the tour of the island of Cres.
Day 7: Bike tour on Cres Island, approx. 30 km / 740 m altitude difference, Cres Island – Rijeka (by boat)
The last stage consists of a round trip from the town of Cres to the village Predoscica and back again. There is a viewpoint which offers a beautiful view over the Adriatic and the island – remember to take your camera! You will have time to have lunch in the town of Cres, from here you will sail to a bay in the north of the island for a last refreshing swimming break, before the Sveti Vid will take you back to Rijeka.
Day 8: Individual departure
Your boat and bike tour in Croatia ends after breakfast with passenger´s individual departure, disembarkation until 9 am.
