Day 1: Individual arrival in Amsterdam

Your bike tour to Brussels begins in lively Amsterdam, the cycling city par excellence. As soon as you arrive, take a walk to the Royal Palace and Oude Kerk, the oldest building in the city. For culture enthusiasts, a visit to the Museumplein with the Rijksmuseum is well worthwhile. Or how about a boat tour along the beautiful canals? Afterwards, enjoy the hearty Dutch cuisine in one of the many cozy restaurants.

Day 2: Amsterdam – Gouda, approx. 70 km

The first cycling stage takes you into the Green Heart of the Netherlands. You cycle through the natural area characterized by lakes and moors as well as peat and polder landscapes to Gouda. The small town is famous for the cheese of the same name and also for its delicious stroopwafels, which you absolutely must try. Discover idyllic courtyards, historic facades and the famous cheese market on a stroll through the old town.

Day 3: Gouda – Papendrecht, approx. 50 km

Today, a special highlight awaits you on your bike tour from Amsterdam to Brussels. A total of 19 historic windmills tower up into the sky in Kinderdijk. They date back to the 18th century and were once used to pump water from the surrounding polders. Visit one of the museum windmills and find out more about how they worked and how people once lived in the mills. The route continues through a picturesque landscape to Papendrecht.

Day 4: Papendrecht – Bergen op Zoom, approx. 70 km

First you cycle to Dordrecht. Stroll through the harbour district, whose historic buildings bring the spirit of past centuries to life. On you go! You will soon reach De Biesbosch National Park. It is one of the few freshwater tidal areas in the world. Here you can observe numerous bird species and the work of the many resident beavers, who have built hundreds of castles in the water. Your destination today is Bergen op Zoom. Explore the city, whose former wealth is still visible today in many monuments and squares.

Day 5: Bergen op Zoom – Antwerp, approx. 60 km

The Kalmthoutse Heide nature reserve is the first destination on your bike tour from Amsterdam to Brussels today. You cycle through a varied heathland area with moors and large coniferous forests. Stop and listen to the numerous species of woodpecker tapping on the trees. Along the Scheldt you reach the historic heart of Antwerp. Not only numerous sights await you, but also typical Belgian delicacies such as chocolates and a variety of beers.

Day 6: Antwerp – Leuven, approx. 70 km

Before you continue cycling, take another stroll through the diamond city of Antwerp. Marvel at the artist's originals in the Rubenshuis and numerous works of art and a wonderful view of the city in the Museum aan de Stroom. Along the rivers Schelde, Rupel and Dijle, you will reach the university city of Leuven. Start your tour at the old university, walk to the Gothic town hall and end it at Oude Markt. Here you will find plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the evening with moules frites and a Belgian beer.

Day 7: Leuven – Brussels, approx. 40 km

Bit by bit, you approach the hustle and bustle of the big city. Your destination, Brussels, welcomes you with love and variety. Set off on a tour of the city and marvel at the Grand-Place with its magnificently decorated houses, baroque facades and gables. Nearby you will find the symbol of Brussels, the bronze statue of Manneken Pis. Did you know that it is dressed up for special occasions? Just outside the city center is the Atomium. From the top sphere of the building, you have a wonderful view of Brussels.

Day 8: Individual departure

Your bike tour from Amsterdam to Brussels ends after breakfast. We are happy to extend your stay in Amsterdam or Brussels with an extra night.
