This fantastic tour takes you into the colourful, passionate Andalusia – home to flamingos, Camargue cattle and elegant horses. Arabic culture is combined here elegantly with European culture; modernity meets tradition. At the busy, colourful weekly markets, the local people meet to chat. Disused railway lines and wide river valleys make for a relaxed cycle ride even in the hills. The biking holiday in Andalusia is a tour for all of the senses!

Day 3: Lucena – Doña Mencía, approx. 25 - 45 km

You cycle past huge olive groves on an old railroad line through the province of Córdoba. In Cabra, you come across one of the oldest churches in Spain. You cycle along the foothills of the Sierras Subbéticas Geopark and enjoy magnificent views over the surrounding hills. The townscapes of Cabra and Doña Mencía all reflect the inhabitants' sense of tradition.

Day 4: Doña Mencía – Córdoba, approx. 60 km

On lonely paths and often through pine forests, the stage takes you through a hilly landscape towards Sierra Morena. At the end of the stage, Córdoba awaits you with a veritable firework display of sights. The Mezquita, whose construction began in the 8th century, is legendary. Once a mosque, now a cathedral, it is one of the largest religious buildings in the world - very impressive!

Day 5: Córdoba – Palma del Río, approx. 60 km

You leave Córdoba on an old Roman road in the wide valley of the River Guadalquivir. Even from a distance, you can make out Écija, the city of towers. Numerous church towers characterize the image of the city, which boasts pretty baroque buildings. Today's destination on your cycling vacation in Andalusia is the small town of Palma del Río.

Day 6: Palma del Río – Carmona, approx. 55 km

Today you cycle through the Campina de Sevilla, one of the most fertile regions in Andalusia. Rugged karst formations alternate with Mediterranean oak forests. Carmona is an exciting stage destination with interesting archaeological sites, a baroque old town and a well-preserved Moorish city wall. Thanks to the town's location on a ridge, you can almost enjoy a view of the entire Sierra Morena.

Day 7: Carmona – Seville, approx. 25 km + train ride

A short stage lies ahead of you today. On the gently undulating high plateau of the Alcores, former royal haciendas still characterize agriculture today. Flamenco is in the blood of the people here and is omnipresent. After dropping off your rental bikes in Brenes, take the train to another highlight of your cycling vacation - Seville, the capital of Andalusia. Stroll through the narrow streets of the old town, visit the medieval Alcázar royal palace and make yourself comfortable in a tapas bar.
