Once you arrive in Vila Nova de Cerveira, the charming town center invites you to take a leisurely stroll or a coffee break in the main square.

Today's program includes an excursion to Valença, a city with an important history and impressive fortifications. The imposing walls provided protection from attacks in the past and still characterize the cityscape today. Let yourself drift through the narrow streets and enjoy the panoramic view of the Minho River. If you want to make the day even more active, you can take an optional canoe trip on the river or an off-road vehicle tour in the Peneda-Gerês National Park. Use the last day of your trip to discover the city and its surroundings. Stroll through the historic center, explore the fishing port or relax on one of the beaches. If you still want to be active, you can take a surfing course or travel by train to the medieval town of Barcelos, which is known for its traditional market and colorful ceramics. A pottery workshop offers a great opportunity to create a unique souvenir yourself.
