Day 1: Individual arrival in Poreč

Your cycling holiday in Croatia begins on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula, in the coastal town of Poreč. Don't miss a visit to the Euphrasian Basilica here. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Personal tour information and bike handover take place in the evening.

Day 2: Round tour Poreč, approx. 35 km

On your first tour by bike, you will cycle through Poreč's hinterland. You cycle along the coast to Santa Marina di Vabriga and finally to Vabriga. Visnjan, a small town in Istria, awaits you inland. You cycle back to Poreč along mostly traffic-free side roads.

Day 3: Trip to Lim Bay, approx. 40 km

You will travel to Lim Bay, which has been declared a nature reserve. The famous Lim Bay is very similar to a fjord and will take your breath away with its clear, blue water. The canal has a very high oxygen and low salt content, which is why there are many mussel and oyster farms on its banks. You return to Poreč through the interior of the country.

Day 4: Excursion to the artists' town of Grožnjan, approx. 55 km + transfer

After a short transfer, you will reach the village of Grožnjan. Musicians and artists from all over the world are drawn here. Classical concerts are held here every summer. The Jazz is Back Festival is held in the second half of July. The Ex Tempore artists' meeting is organized at the end of September especially for the visual arts. You cycle downhill via Buje, along the Adriatic coast to Novigrad. This small town lies at the mouth of the river Mirna and is surrounded by a fortress wall. Before you reach Poreč, you cycle past the Jama Baredine stalactite cave.

Day 5: Excursion to Motovun, approx. 45 km + transfer

After the transfer to Poreč's hinterland, you will stop off in Motovun. This historic town is perched on a steep hill above the Mirna Valley. Walk around the historic town and look out over the sea, the Mirna valley and the hilly surroundings. Below Motovun is a vast, damp oak forest, a well-known white truffle discovery site. You cycle along the Parenzana path to Vizinada. Take a look back at beautiful Motovun and cycle on through the hinterland to Poreč.

Day 6: Excursion to Rovinj, approx. 55 km + transfer

The next stage of their cycling holiday in Croatia takes you to Rovinj. The town was originally its own island, which was connected to the mainland in 1763. Rovinj is one of the most beautiful towns in Istria. The Church of St. Euphemia stands on the highest square in the town and towers over the old town. You also have the opportunity to visit Zlatni rt. The peninsula is also known as the Golden Cape and is the oldest nature reserve in Istria. The transfer back to Poreč takes place in the afternoon

Day 7: Excursion to Pula, approx. 45 km + transfer

After a short transfer, you will reach Kanfanar and continue through endless forests to Pula. Take a crossing from Fažana, a small fishing village, to the Brijuni Islands. This group of islands in the Croatian Adriatic Sea consists of two large and twelve small islands. Only the main island of Veli Brijun is open to the public. Discover nature and observe the numerous peacocks and seagulls. Continue to Pula, the largest city in Istria. Visit the famous amphitheater and the Temple of Augustus before starting the return transfer to Poreč in the evening.

Day 8: Individual departure
