Cycle and Sail at Lake Constance

Kressbronn is idyllically situated between orchards and vineyards directly on the northern shore of Lake Constance. Bustling towns such as Friedrichshafen, Bregenz and Constance are still within easy reach. Hotel Schattmaier, your accommodation on this cycle tour, is located directly on Lake Constance's largest marina and is also home to its own sailing school. After your cycle tours, you can relax in the hotel's own wellness area.

Today you can really pamper yourself. The hotel has a whirlpool, steam bath and saunas. Alternatively you can explore the area on your own by bike or take a hike on the farm trail through the surrounding area of Kressbronn. In the evening, an experienced skipper will take you on a two-hour sailing trip on Lake Constance, where you can enjoy a delicious three-course menu.

Located on the eastern shore of Lake Constance and at the foot of the Pfänder, the town of Bregenz is rich in culture and was once the backdrop for the James Bond film Quantum of Solace. And did you know that there is a mummified shark hanging above the town gate? The ride on the Pfänderbahn cable car is particularly worthwhile in good weather, as the view of around 240 Alpine peaks and Lake Constance is spectacular.

On today's cycle tour, you cycle via Friedrichshafen to Meersburg. Plan a short walk through the old town and to the castle. Then take the ferry across Lake Constance to Constance. Time flies as you stroll past magnificent Renaissance buildings with beautiful facade paintings. Take the catamaran from the port of Constance back to Friedrichshafen, from where it takes just a few kilometers by bike to Kressbronn.
