The National Maritime Museum, housed in the historic Château de Brest, the Tour Tanguy Museum and the lively harbour all reflect the region’s rich seafaring heritage. A ride on the cable car offers impressive views over the Brest roadstead and takes you across to the modern Capucins district.

Day 2: Brest – Le Conquet, approx. 35 km

Your Biketour around Brest begins along the dramatic Iroise coastline. Passing historic fortifications and coastal memorials, you ride with constant views of the Atlantic. Several lighthouses line the way before Pointe Saint-Mathieu rewards you with sweeping views over the Molène archipelago. An optional excursion to Ouessant Island is possible.

Day 3: Le Conquet – Landunvez – Porspoder, approx. 35

This stage takes you past the peaceful Ria du Conquet and on to the sweeping Blancs Sablons beach. At the edge of Europe, between the English Channel and the Atlantic, Plouarzel features the Trézien lighthouse and the semaphore at Pointe de Corsen, overseeing this busy maritime passage. In Lanildut, visit Europe’s first seaweed harbor and learn about this fascinating tradition at the Maison des Algues. The journey continues through idyllic coastal landscapes to the small seaside resort of Porspoder.

Day 4: Porspoder – Landéda, approx. 50 km

Along a rugged coastline, charming highlights await: the small port of Argenton, the surfing beach of Penfoul, and the secluded chapel of Saint-Samson offer a varied glimpse into the region. Offshore lies the island of Melon, while the impressive Four lighthouse keeps watch over the cliffs. In Portsall, the memory of the Amoco Cadiz oil spill lingers, before continuing along the Aber Benoit to Landéda. The megaliths of Guilliguy, a protected historic site, provide an impressive end to the day.
