Day 1: Individual arrival in Bastia + transfer to Macinaggio

Upon arrival in Bastia, you’ll be transferred to the picturesque harbor of Macinaggio at the tip of Cap Corse. Your adventure begins here amid turquoise waters, charming fishing ports, and wild maquis. Spend the afternoon strolling along the sandy beach, enjoying a local ice cream, or sampling Corsican cuisine before your journey truly starts.

Day 2: Macinaggio - Barcaggio, approx. 13 km (hiking)

Today’s stage takes you along the stunning “customs officers’ path” – a highlight for anyone keen on Hike & Bike on Corsica. Discover hidden coves with crystal-clear waters, swim in secluded bays, and visit the impressive Genoese Tower of Santa Maria before arriving at the charming port of Barcaggio.

Day 3: Barcaggio - Centuri, approx. 10 km (hiking)

The hiking trail winds along rocky coastal sections and less-traveled paths, always accompanied by sparkling sea views and historic towers. Reach Centuri, one of Corsica’s most beautiful ports, and end your day enjoying freshly caught lobster and seafood in this scenic fishing village.

Day 4: Centuri - Albo, approx. 35 km (bike)

Today you cycle along the wild west coast of Cap Corse. A small pass offers spectacular views over the peninsula and Giraglia Island, before the road twists along steep cliffs and untouched landscapes. A perfect stage for anyone eager to experience Hike & Bike on Corsica actively, with an overnight stay in the peaceful village of Albo.

Day 5: Albo - Saint-Florent, approx. 25 / 40 km (bike)

Ride past the unusual black pebble beach of Nonza and the Paoline Tower, with breathtaking views over the sea. Heading south, the landscape transforms into limestone hills and lush vineyards. In Saint-Florent, the “Saint-Tropez of Corsica,” explore the citadel, stroll through the harbor, or enjoy the sun-drenched streets of the old town.

Day 6: Explore Saint-Florent, approx. 50 km (cycling) / 15 km (hiking)

Choose your adventure today: cyclists explore the peaceful villages of Nebbiu and Murato with panoramic views of vineyards and the sea, while hikers follow the coastal path past hidden coves and sandy beaches to the Mortella Tower. A day full of freedom and discovery, experiencing the very best of Hike & Bike on Corsica.

Day 7: Return transfer to Bastia and individual departure

    The routes mainly lead along asphalted coastal roads with little traffic and through small, typical villages. When hiking, the stages run along narrow coastal paths, partly over rocky and technically more demanding sections along the "Zöllnerpfad". All in all, the route alternates between quiet side roads, panoramic passages and natural paths through the maquis.
